Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 07 Sep 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ConfirmRide website, mobile-web app and related services (the "Platform"), operated by ConfirmRide ("we", "us", "our"). By registering on, or using, the Platform — as a Customer or as a Driver — you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
1. What ConfirmRide Is
ConfirmRide is a local ride-booking platform for Bokaro Steel City that connects riders ("Customers") with independent, self-employed vehicle owners/operators ("Drivers") offering Auto, Toto (e-rickshaw) and Bike rides. ConfirmRide is a technology intermediary only — it does not own, lease or operate any vehicles, and Drivers are independent third parties, not employees or agents of ConfirmRide.
2. Eligibility & Registration
- Customers register using a valid mobile number and basic details. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
- Drivers register by submitting personal, vehicle and identity details (including vehicle number, driving licence and Aadhaar number). Driver accounts are activated only after verification and approval by ConfirmRide's Admin team; approval, rejection or blocking of a Driver account is at ConfirmRide's discretion.
- You must be legally competent to enter into a contract under Indian law to use the Platform.
- Information provided during registration must be true, accurate and current. Providing false information (including forged documents) may lead to immediate suspension.
3. Booking a Ride
- Customers can request a ride by entering pickup and destination locations and choosing a vehicle type (Auto, Toto or Bike).
- The fare shown before confirming a booking is an estimate, calculated from an approximate straight-line/route distance and the current base fare, per-km rate and minimum fare for that vehicle type. It is provided for guidance only.
- The Platform shows a request to available Drivers; a ride is confirmed only once a Driver accepts (or is assigned by Admin). ConfirmRide does not guarantee that a Driver will be available at all times or in all areas.
- Customers are responsible for providing an accurate pickup location and being reasonably available at the pickup point at the agreed time.
4. Fares & Payment
- Ride fares are payable by the Customer directly to the Driver at the end of the ride, by cash or via the Driver's own UPI/QR code, as agreed between Customer and Driver.
- ConfirmRide does not collect, process or hold ride fares, and is not a payment gateway for ride fares. The actual fare may vary from the estimate based on actual distance travelled, route taken, traffic, waiting time and any applicable waiting charges.
- Any fare dispute regarding a specific ride is primarily a matter between the Customer and the Driver. ConfirmRide may, at its discretion, assist in reviewing trip details (distance, timings) recorded on the Platform to help resolve a dispute, but is not obligated to mediate or compensate either party.
5. Driver Obligations & Commission
- Drivers must hold a valid driving licence, valid vehicle registration/permit (where applicable) and comply with all applicable motor vehicle and local transport laws while using the Platform.
- Drivers must maintain their vehicle in a roadworthy and reasonably clean condition and are expected to behave courteously and safely with Customers at all times.
- For each completed ride accepted through the Platform, the Driver agrees to pay ConfirmRide a daily commission (currently 10% of that day's completed-ride earnings) via the company's designated UPI ID/QR code, submitted before 11:59 PM the same day, as shown in the Driver app.
- Delayed, incorrect or unsubmitted commission payments may result in temporary suspension of a Driver's account until the outstanding amount is confirmed by Admin.
- ConfirmRide reserves the right to change the commission percentage or fare-rate structure from time to time, with the updated rates reflected in the app.
6. User Conduct
You agree not to: (a) misuse the Platform for any unlawful purpose; (b) harass, threaten or discriminate against other users; (c) provide false booking, identity or vehicle information; (d) attempt to interfere with the Platform's normal operation or security; or (e) create multiple accounts to evade a suspension or block.
7. Suspension & Termination
ConfirmRide may suspend, block or terminate any Customer or Driver account — with or without notice — for a breach of these Terms, fraudulent activity, repeated complaints, safety concerns, or non-payment of commission dues by a Driver. You may stop using the Platform and request account deactivation at any time by contacting us.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ConfirmRide's liability arising out of or relating to the Platform or any ride booked through it is limited to facilitating the connection between Customer and Driver. ConfirmRide is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for the acts, omissions, conduct or negligence of any Driver or Customer. Please also see our Disclaimer for further details.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or applicable law. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Governing Law & Contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bokaro Steel City, Jharkhand. For any questions about these Terms, please contact us at +91 70618 39422.
